GEO-INT as it is known in the intel industry is a powerful tool _especially in the planning of military and civilian actions. It is equally useful in the civilian world as it is applied in the emergency services environment. The data sets that are now being developed allow for exacting information in real-time within seconds for highly detailed information about fire hydrant locations, water main sizes, disaster resources, and many other useful subsets.
